Filmmaking Procedure

today we discussed what stages we have to discuss in our evaluation question pre production production and post production down here are some of the points we thought of discussing.

Reshoot

earlier we shot the serial killer shots but during the editing time we saw the lighting was cool but it was low due to which the clip did not looked appealing so we decided to reshoot certain scenes this was tiring but we learned a lot as this helped us to learn that we should pre plan everything. down here is one clip shot in low light which we reshot.

Photoshop

we desgined our news studio logo on photoshop using simple brush tools alongside with typing tools. this gave our news report scene a professional and real feel.

Premier Pro

we learned different editing techniques for example how to handle the speed of a clip importin the right amount of the clip we need in a video mixing/ adding background score and also color grading on premier pro. this has helped a lot as learning all the editing techniques one can pre plan what he wants to show and accordingly he/she can take the shots. I tried these techniques on one of my news report clip down here is a screenshot of it

After Effect + Premier Pro

today we learned how to design text/titles in adobe after effects and import them onto our project editor Premier pro this process is really easy and with a number of practice one can design cinematic looking titles.

Shooting Day1

today we started the actual shooting for our film opening the big challenge during this shooting was our news report scene. as this had to be shot in green screen background with proper lighting it was pretty hard but with the dedicated members we were able to pull of this job easily down here is the the studio pic. the bloopers will be uploaded soon.
